bed and breakfast which may be an excellent
solution for tourists who wish to combine
sight-seeing in the Eternal City of Rome (just
22
km. from Capital Hill/Colosseum/Roman
Forum)& 10 min.bus-ride to Rome Metro
Station which will take you directly into the
center) with relaxing on Lake Albano where Pope
John-Paul has his summer residence at which he
gives audiences. The B&B Albero Gemello is
run by a Canadian lady & her Italian
architect husband who doubles as Tourist Guide,
on request. Two double rooms on the 1st floor of
their home have been made available for
overnight Guests on short-term visits. Both
rooms have a balcony and the Master bedroom
(here 1 fold-away bed may be added) a fridge.
The Twin bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds.
The rooms share a fully-equipped bathroom
reserved for Guests only. A third Double bedroom
(here 1 fold-away bed may be added) with private
bath may be made available only in the case of a
request to accomodate a party of 8 persons or
for a party of 4 or 5 persons (in the case that
1 of the 2 principal rooms be temporarily
occupied). Make a separate inquiry before
booking. The garden is at Guests' disposal and
the abundant personalized breakfast is included
in the price. Resident pet: small,friendly
female mongrel named Pye. Full course Italian
evening meal on request for only Euro 15,00
including wine and coffee.

dei Colli Albani, ricca di itinerari
archeologici, artistici e naturalistici.
Sull'orlo del lago vulcanico di Albano/ Castel -
gandolfo (dove il Papa ha la sua residenza
estiva), con i suoi boschi e il Club di Canoa.
E’ adiacente all'ospedale, alla farmacia ed ai
giardini pubblici dove si trovano i ruderi della
villa romana di Pompeo Magno. E’a soli 10 km.
dall\'aeroporto di Ciampino ed a 42 km.
dall’aeroporto internazionale "L. da Vinci". A 5
minuti a piedi dalla fermata del bus e ad 8
minuti dalla stazione del treno Albano -
Roma.Vicino al Palaghiaccio di Marino e
PalAriccia (Rollerskating).
Aperto nel
2001,B&B Albero Gemello è gestito da una
signora canadese e da suo marito architetto. Una
soluzione ideale per i turisti che vorrebbero
combinare il turismo nella Città Eterna con le
delizie del Lago , del trekking nei boschi
circostanti che compongono il Parco regionale
dei Castelli Romani oppure, in alternativa,
prendere il sole ( a soli 22 km. verso
ovest)sulle spiagge dorate e inverdite da
incursioni sparse di vegetazione tipicamente
mediterranea in
alternativa al relax intorno
alla piscina all' aperto nel complesso sportivo
situato a 5 minuti a piedi
dal B&B. Se
ci si vuole spingere un po’ più lontano si può
fare un salto a Napoli col treno ( circa 2
ore di viaggio) per vedere il lascito delle
antiche civiltà di Pompei ed Ercolano. Nel
villino di
proprietà sono state adibite 2
stanze al primo piano per accogliere gli ospiti.
Entrambe le stanze
hanno balconi,
condividono un bagno attrezzato (una terza
camera può essere resa disponibile per un gruppo
fino a 8 persone o di 4/5 persone in caso che 1
delle principali camere sia occupata), ed il
giardino è a disposizione degli ospiti.
L'abbondante colazione continentale è
compresa nel prezzo. E’ inoltre disponibile
un'esperta guida
turistica. Trasporto di
cortesia da e verso i principali punti locali di
arrivo/partenza. Un pasto serale, con un menù
del giorno, disponible su richiesta per Euro
15,00 inclusi vino e caffé.

swimming pool (entrance fee: Euro 5,00 /day-from
May-September). The B&B is just a half-hour
drive to the sandy, shrub-clustered
mediterranean beaches (just 22 km west) .And why
not ? a jaunt to Naples (Pompei &
Herculanum) a little over 2 hours away ! Not to
speak of the renowned culinary fame of the
region with its genuine food & wine
itineraries.Just
10 minutes from
Rome-Ciampino airport: courtesy pick-up: just
send flight number & arrival time with
reservation. 5-minute walk to local depots of
Bus (goes directly to the Rome Subway every 15
min.) and train (goes directly to Rome Central
Station every hour) for frequent transportation
to Rome.

How
to arrive: From the A-1 Highway ROMA-Nord, take
direction Roma- Grande Raccordo Anulare (Great
Ring-Road G.R.A.) for 3 km. to the Toll Booth.
Then procede another 20 km, and enter the G.R.A.
,direction Roma- Ciampino airport.Exit at USCITA
23 S.S.7 Via Appia direction Ciampino airport-
Albano.Straight ahead towards Albano, for about
10 km; then 40 meters past the AGIP service
station, you\'ll arrive in the Main Square of
Albano. Turn immediately right onto Via Olivella
(directions for Ospedale/Farmacia); follow down
alongside the Town Park for about 600 meters. On
the left, number 63, B&B Albero Gemello-Twin
Tree land- marked by fir trees,twin
mediterranean pines and a cedar of Lebanon.
From Leonardo da Vinci Airport: Take
Autostrada Roma-Fiumicino direction Roma; after
11 km. exit on the right onto the Grande
Raccordo Anulare; procede until USCITA 23 Via
Appia; then exit on the right direction Ciampino
airport-Albano; Then follow as above.
From Centre of Rome: By train:
Roma-Albano, from Stazione Termini, every hour
(takes 45 minutes); By metro/Bus: METRO "A"
direction ANAGNINA to the end; then Bus COTRAL
to Albano (every 15/20 minutes).

Roma-G.R.A.; aprés 3 km.environ, on trouve le
pèage. Aprés 20 km. environ, on dèbouche sur le

jusqu\'à USCITA (sortie) 23 s.s.7 Via Appia,
direction Aeroport Ciampino-Albano. Continuer

la station-service AGIP, on arrive à la place
principal de Albano; on tourne immediatement à
droite sur Via Olivella (direction
Ospedale/Farmacia); on cotoie le Parc de Villa

repére: un pair de pins mèditerranèen et un
cédre du Lyban.
De l\'Aerogare
"Leonardo da Vinci", prendre l\'autoroute
Roma-Fiumicino, direction Roma; aprés 11 km.
environ, on sort à droite sur le G.R.A. et on
continue jusqu\'à la sortie USCITA 23 Via Appia;
on sort a droite, direction Ciampino/Albano.
Suivre les indications prècèdents.
De la ville de Rome- Albano: 1)
chemins de fer: à la Gare STAZIONE TERMINI,
chaque heure; 2) Metrò-Bus: Metrò "A" direction
ANAGNINA, jusqu\'à terminus; puis le bus COTRAL
direction Albano (chaque 15/20 min.).

Dall\' Autostrada A-1 Roma-nord-
direzione ROMA- Grande Raccordo Anulare; dopo 3
km. circa si trova il casello pedaggio. Dopo 20
km. circa, si entra sul G.R.A e si prende
direzione Roma/Ciampino. Si prosegue fino
all\'USCITA 23- s.s.7 Via Appia direzione
aeroporto Ciampino/Albano. Proseguire verso
Albano. Dopo 10 km circa, 40 metri oltre la
stazione di servizio AGIP, si arriva sulla
piazza principale di Albano. Qui girare subito a
destra su Via Olivella (direzione
Ospedale/Farmacia), si costeggia il Parco
Comunale Villa Doria , e dopo 600 metri, sulla
sinistra al n.63, B&B "Albero Gemello- Twin
Tree", segno di riferimento: abeti, una coppia
di pini e un cedro del Libano.
Dall\' Aeroporto Leonardo da
Vinci- prendere l\'Autostrada Roma-Fiumicino
direzione Roma; dopo 11 km si esce a destra sul
Grande Raccordo Anulare; proseguire fino
all\'Uscita 23 Via Appia ed uscire a destra
verso Ciampino/Albano. Poi come sopra.
Da Roma-Città: Treno:
Roma-Albano dalla Stazione Termini ogni ora;
Metro/Bus: Metro "A" Direzione ANAGNINA fino al
